| ANCHOR PROGRAMME Susie Riddoch and her colleagues devised this successful programme five years ago. It has been responsible for helping many people with upper limb overuse injuries (RSI,OOS) return to repetitive work in full capacity. This is a self management programme based on changing the shoulder muscle recruitment pattern. Although the programme was devised for people with RSI, Susie has found the programme very useful in restoring good shoulder biomechanics in many other patients with chronic shoulder problems such as impingement, rotator cuff and frozen shoulders. Susie is presently finishing her Masters of Science degree by research investigating work-related neck and shoulder pain. The result of her research is promoting international interest; she was asked to give a paper at the 5th International Scientific conference on prevention of work-related musculoskeletal Disorders in Zurich, Switzerland in July 2004.
